Little Drummers

Because Miss Kristin is the best music teacher ever, this day was a delight. Drums of all sizes filled the room and not one of them was left unplayed. To be loud and explore are two of many reasons to be a Preschooler.

This big drum was... big... and loud.

The drum set was a whole different sound. Clanging and crashing and thumping and tapping, all the kids got to practice rocking out.

Even the rain stick was powerful. Seriously, get these kids some drums! They will scream and laugh and play and love you forever and ever. And attack you whenever they see you roaming the halls. Ask Miss Kristin.

Grandparent's (And Friend's, and Parent's) Day!

We started the festivities with some entertainment. No one was expecting this. Not even the kids. But they did great!
And it was freeeeeezing...
Next we played outside and wished we were inside.

Attempt at foosball. But the ball was missing. Alas.

Attempt at hula hooping. Thanks Tina for trying!

Spinning, watching, waiting for muffins.
We ate muffins next but I was too busy stuffing my face to take pictures.

I love this picture. And these girls!

It can be tiring being in Preschool.

Eugene Glass School

For anyone in the area who hasn't made it to the Eugene Glass School, I am sorry. You really should try harder. It's colorful and all those breakables make for a perfect setting for a Preschool field trip. Teachers don't stress at all as children are whisked through the building, given pieces of glass (they're not sharp, don't worry) and told to glue those pieces onto tiles. Nope. No sweat. Anyway, we had fun and came away with cool creations to sell at our auction! By the way, those items are still in our school's office if anyone wants to purchase them...

Not-so-recent Updates

Hi Parents, Grandparents, Friends, and other Family,

It's been a long time since Funny Friends has been updated. Does this mean nothing worthy of posting has happened in our Preschool class? No way! It simply means that the teacher and technology aren't best friends yet. We're working it out. So... I will be posting several picture updates of recent and not-so-recent fun events that have happened. Preschool is busy as ever and our friends are growing faster than the flowers. I know this because now they're in the stage of "trying to get away with things." Sneaky is what they are. Laugh and wiggle is what they do. And that's the way they like it.
